"Building and increasing the personal effectiveness of your workforce"


Community Chest has been created to give your staff the opportunity to gain crucial personal effectiveness skills. The experience that we have built will see your teams take on the role of a community project team for the day.

Whilst in this role participants will have to pitch to politicians for a slice of funding, devise strategies and project plans, meet with trustees and face the media. On top of this, countless other surprises will be thrown at them.

Teams will be given extensive feedback during and after the event to enable them to build on their personal effectiveness skills.

Learning Outcomes

A whole range of personal effectivess skills will be taught to the participants, including;

  • Negotiation skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Media interview skills
  • Project management skills

Outline Plan

Community Chest takes place over a full day. The following timetable offers an outline plan of the timings and activities during the session but this remains entirely flexible to meet your needs:

09:30  Welcome, introduction and objectives

09:45  Prepare present initial presentations

11:00  Negotiations and Media Interviews

12:15  Lunch

13:15  Meetings and project development

15:00  Break

15:15  Prepare present final presentations

16:30  End

We recommend a group size of 20 for this session, but as always we remain flexible to meet your needs.
